Identify Your Personal Style

Ladies (and gentlemen) please please PLEASE don't get too caught up in all the hype of people telling you what you can and can't wear. Instead what you should do is consider the suggestions of those close to you or those who are professionals or are very knowledgeable in this area. Along with that, consider fit, form and moderation when dressing. And lastly be honest with yourself!

Now that we have that out of the way :) Let's get to the good stuff:

Simple/Practical Steps to help you identify your personal style:

*Collect photos/examples of things you admire.
-create a portfolio/corkboard with pictures and maybe even people that you admire from accessories, to makeup, bags, dresses, shoes, etc. Include words to describe the photos and words you'd like to use to describe yourself and your lifestyle.

*Try on Everything
-Step out of your comfort zone and go to stores and try on things that are similar to items in your inspiration portfolio and also things that you normally wouldn't pick up.
-Take notes: Fit, form, functionality, practicality. How do you feel? When/where would you wear this?

-Now is the time to pull together everything you've done so far. Put together outfits, try them on, take pictures examine your body. Is this something you can commit to?
-If you need help... seek advice of a professional, or a trustworthy friend. Don't be afraid to ask!
